David Rancourt is the founder of Domini International, a commodity trading company. After a long career in government service, where he was Florida’s State Elections Director, Deputy Secretary of State and Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Jeb Bush, David co-founded Southern Strategy Group and over the next decade grew the firm to America’s largest state level lobbying practice with 21 offices in 16 states. Following the sale of his interests in Southern Strategy Group in 2008, David has been an entrepreneur focused on consulting and investment businesses involved in trade, communication, and advocacy, while also creating, identifying, and investing in numerous business opportunities. These investment enterprises include the medical, beverage, material science, real estate, agriculture, and financial services sectors and involve investment or leadership roles in several companies. David is a native Floridian and holds a BS degree in economics from Florida State University, an MA in political science from the University of Florida. David earned a certificate in cultural diplomacy from the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin and holds a PhD from the University of Bucharest (Romania) in philosophy where his research in applied ethics and moral theory earned him Magna Cum Laude honors.
Daniel Silva was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, moving to Tampa, Florida at the age of 21. Daniel is a co-founder of the commodity trading company Domini International. Daniel maintains deep business relationships to the business communities in both his native Brazil and his adopted home in Florida. Daniel created one of Tampa’s leading hardscape companies in Andy Brick Pavers and is very involved in promoting Brazilian/American trade. Maintaining his family business activity in Brazil, Daniel is also the acting CEO of Grupo Domini, one of South America’s top accounting firms and the most innovative in the market.
Daniel’s ties to the business and political communities in his native Brazil create enormous opportunity for international trade. His work at both JP Morgan and Citibank in Treasury and Security Services gives him tremendous insight into international trade.
